They defend us so well, the first four Canadian casualties in Afghanistan were as a result of an American pilot disobeying orders to break off his attack run and dropping a five hundred pounder on our troops.

If your nation feels that way maybe you should withdraw from all the agreements of mutual defense we have. Maybe NATO itself is doomed, even certain members of our own government now question it. I personally have always felt the world safer when the NATO powers are in one step. Now even citizens of our closest ally commonly deride us. If NATO collapses and the western allies stand apart the real bad guys will spread thier threat.

I realize your responding to insulting posts toward Canada but think about your statements. America has been an important trading and military ally of Canada. Both Canada and the USA have no more important ally than each other. If that changes it will be a sign that the world is careening toward a darker time. Good gosh the USA and Canada should not be at each other’s throats. Yea I understand Trump is responsible for some of it but he is one man. Most of our government and people do not agree with his aggressive stance toward our allies and most value NATO. None of it matters if this anti us sentiment aired on CD is really representing how Canadians feel about Americans. If this is how it is then we will have to part ways. There can be no true alliance between nations whose populations dislike one another. Funny how the two most similar nations on the planet are coming to dislike each other........the negative power of the internet at work, much of this disdain and negativity nurtured on sites like this.

Just few: Much safer, less corrupt, lower crime rate, lower obesity rate, universal healthcare, cheap college tuition, generous paid parental leave, paid days off, using metric system, cleaner cities, less poverty, higher life expectancy, better food quality, its biggest cities more affordable than our biggest cities to live, better social safety net, better world reputation, better immigration system, etc.

That must explain why there are far more Canadians emigrating to the USA than are Americans emigrating to Canada.

Most of the wars we've been involved in haven't even been about defending the US, let alone Canada.

It’s easier to migrate to the US than vise versa, some also move due to marriage, some for warmer weather or some for job. If there was easier immigration and option for many Americans they would love to live in Canada.

I'm sure you have a source you can point us to. You know, just to back up your assertion and give it some credibility.
