Nonsense.

They all have committed crimes with the first one being either sneaking across the border or overstaying a visa. Yes, it's a misdemeanor for their first offense when it comes to sneaking across the border or overstaying a visa but the second time around, it is a felony. Besides, misdemeanors are still crimes.

Then, in order to work here (BTW, it's against the law for them to hold a job here), they either commit ID theft or use a fake SSN (that fake SSN often belongs to a living person who, like the ID theft victim, gets put into a world of hurt) or they are being paid under the table, thereby engaging in tax evasion.

So...tell us all again how illegals have a low crime rate.

No, we don't need these people and we don't want increased legal immigration because we don't need it. That doesn't give anyone the right to come here illegally instead.

Of course they're screwed up. Otherwise there wouldn't be so much illegal immigration. Government needs to work with businesses and develop a reasonable plan to issue seasonal, temporary and other forms of work immigration permits.

We're all right here pointing out how shameful some of you people are when it comes to supporting the illegal alien community. How does this change the fact that millions of people in this country agree that this guy shouldn't have been here in the first place?

Considering the nature of the crime behind the topic of this thread, do you really want to go there? Why should a 20 year old American girl have to worry about being killed by "one powerful illegal immigrant" while out for a jog in central Iowa?

Immigration into this country should benefit this country, immigration shouldn't be the welfare program for Central and South America. Much like divorce, Immigrating to the US is hard and expensive because it's worth it.

Those don't count though...they are victimless crimes...

Thank you for taking ownership! It’s exhausting hearing just come here legally when you know damn well you don’t want them here. You’re a champ!

And yes, as it tragic as it sounds, every now and again something regarding an undocumented person will happen. Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand what you’re saying: if this person was never here, she may never have been murdered. That part is totally true, but to suggest that US citizens are perfectly innocent people is.. well.. malarkey. People, such as yourself, enjoy 30 second sound bites that appeal to emotions; the world doesn’t work in such a way though.

The very fact that you used the term undocumented rather than illegal alien is a tell all with you. No one is suggesting that our citizens don't commit murder and other crimes also. When they do they are held accountable. It seems with illegal aliens they get a pass and are rewarded instead (and I didn't mean for murder). If anyone appeals to emotions it's the liberal left and ethnocentrics.
