Wow, just got some details on more of Trumps winning bigly....but this stuff should be of REAL concern to those who care about...well, just about everything!!

A Triple Win in Syria - maybe a quadruple one!

1. Assad has won...game over!
2. Russia now has full time air base AND port there - guaranteed. They have armed up a lot of the country and have threatened to store Nukes there - which, of course, they can do if they want (who is going to stop them?). This means a Nuke could be carried on a donkey to Israel, and so has grave implications (among many other potential problems with giving Syria to Russia.
3. The Iranians have been embraced by Assad and they are going to provide 100's of million or even billions of dollars to help rebuild. Of course...that also comes with Iranian ownership of the country (along with Russia).

Added to this are "wins bigly" in Turkey, a NATO member (right?) which now is looking to both Iran and Russia for some fancy arms and political backing. Definitely a Trump "win bigly" since he has railed against NATO since Day One. Victory!

I need not mention NK and quite a few other countries that are laughing at Trump and the USA. Europe even said today that they cannot rely on the US being their ally any longer...seems we may prefer friends like the Saudis...

That's just the tip of the iceberg. While many Trumpies are cheering "deals' with Mexico (are they paying for the Wall?) that they know nothing about, the world remains a complicated place.

As some top diplomats and foreign service people put it, most of these types of international relations require thinking at least 10-20 moves ahead...while Trump is thinking....well, let's be honest, 1/2 of ONE move ahead.

When we look back and all is said and done it won't be the stock market or an Abortion Ban that defines this era - it will be decades long damage and many potential conflicts that future leaders are going to have to deal with. Damage done by the common man and woman for whom international relations is just some far-away thing that they think doesn't matter.

Thanks, Donald...you took the gloves off and handed Iran, Russia and the Chinese and North Koreans many a victory with many to come.

Great news.

Major blow to the US imperial powers of murder and institution genocide.

To you, it must be awful of course since US military dominance makes you happy, along with all the corpses that pile up, and of course the funding of terrorism that goes with it.

The cameras were on today and showed Trump in the Presidents Chair in the Oval Office.
Thats the same place we expect the President to sit.
No disappointment, he was there like we thought.
Because he is the elected President.
Trump won.

If you wish to go that down that road it was the "Red line" comment from Obama and his inaction on his idle threats that opened the door for Russia to get heavily involved in Syria. You cannot make threat like that as President of the US and not follow through. Putin and the Russians immediately took advantage of it. The weakness of the Obama administration has compounded the problems facing the Trump administration.

Sorry, but no. Trumps been in place for over a year. He owns this. Period. The buck stops there, and he needs to put on his big boy pants and act like a leader.

Russia involvement in Syria is the direct result of the Obama administration, that is just a fact. You cannot make threats like that and not carry through. The Russians saw the weakness of Obama and pounced on it. Options available to Obama when Russia was not involved are no longer available to Trump because of that.

Please. Trump is president. He could have influenced this in any number of ways. He owns this. JUST as Obama owns it for when he was president. But the bottom line is still that Trump owns this under his presidency as well.

With Russia now entrenched in that country because of the weakness of the Obama administration what do you expect him to do that will not start WW3? Syria is now a huge military asset for Russia, they aren't going to give that up.
