Robert Reich: 'Don't Impeach Trump, Annul His Presidency'

Let me explain.

Democrats will take back the House and begin an impeachment, and the evidence of impeachable offenses will put enough pressure on Republican senators to send Trump packing.

I don’t believe this for a moment.

First, the Senate has never in history convicted a president of impeachment.

Second, even if Democrats flip the House in November, Republicans will almost certainly remain in control of the Senate – and so far they’ve displayed the integrity of lizards.
This, from a former and respected Secretary of Labor in the Clinton Administration, shows how far Anti-Trump psychoses go. There is no such thing in the Constitution as "annulling a Presidency." One cannot rewrite history any more than demolishing a statue of Robert E. Lee brings racial justice to America or restores the 600,000 killed in the Civil War.

These formerly revered people have truly "jumped the shark" and can no longer be taken seriously. They are still screaming from their bad dream in November 2016, when they collectively convinced themselves that "Trump could not be elected."

Well he was. Deal with it, through sublimation, therapy or otherwise.

Poor Reich. He thinks there is a reason to save this now badly failed experiment. Republicans bad. Democrats good.

Let McCains death signal the end of both parties. America is grotesque in the truest since of that word. If there is a God, his hand is busy at work in sweeping this away soon.

It's a great big world out there, snowflakes. Lots of people with lots of different opinions that don't have to match yours. Oddly, this is the first place I have heard about his "annulment" opinion. It's almost like right wingers are giving him some exposure where if they ignored him... well, nevermind. These are the same right wingers that watch CNN so they can call it "the worst." SMH

Wait, think about it for a minute. So if we discover Obama was actually not a U.S. citizen, we can have his Presidency annulled as well.

God, the TDS is so over the top these days and I can't help but wonder why anyone would vote democrat; they have no strategy to continue to move our country forward, and in fact want to raise taxes and open the borders. How does that benefit Americans? And when did the left become so anti-American?

I love how liberals rant on about foreign influence in elections when their whole platform is getting foreigners into America to override the existing electorate.

I don't necessarily believe Obama was born in Hawaii, and so not a natural born citizen. I think Anti-American left started between 1960-1990 and just kept getting exponentially worse after the 1990s.

We had to put up with 8 full years of horrible Obama and liberals are losing their minds and it hasn't been 2 years. And Trump hasn't been able to do much of anything on immigration and trade as yet. Still they're losing their minds.

Let me see-

Trump conspired with a foreign operative to create a faux dossier against his opponent. He then conspired with a media source to leak the contents for the media operative to run, in order to influence an election. He then took that bogus information to the FBI and used it for grounds for wiretapping and spying on his opponent's campaign.

Of course he should be prosecuted, these are serious crimes.

Oh..wait...

This is just a cleaned up version of when Carl Reiner tweeted Hillary Clinton would be installed as President. These people are pathetic.

That would be the fair thing...but the US, World and Life is not fair.

If anyone every doubted it....well, you have your proof now. Trump is likely illegit - at least by any standard set of odds. Comey, Russians, Fake News and more.....swung it. Usually, when contests are unfair you do them over...nullify them.

Probably should have done that in 2000 also. Might have saved many trillions of dollars and a lost decade. This one may end in nuclear war...but for sure will result in a lost decade or two to get back on track.

Oh, well, what else is new. Life isn't fair and there is no God or Karma. Really. And that's from someone who may have, at one time, believed in Karma.
