I'm a moderate and generally liked Obama, picking him or most anyone else over Trump would indeed be quite easy.

Assuming Trump is still around by 2020, I could see him look at the polls and not run declaring his term a huge success rather than face a brutal loss.

If there was a vote today or if things continue with Trump the way he´s going and Obama stood again in 2020 would he win ?
I voted yes, but that would only be true if everything was exactly like it is right now. Tomorrow this could be different, 6 months ago it might have been different. You really can't answer a question like this.

With the amount of undoing being performed by his successor, he apparently did quite a bit.

Today's economy is Obama's. Trump is doing everything he can with his trade wars to cause a recession and its just a matter of time before it happens.

I didn’t vote for Obama when he ran, but hands down he would beat Trump.
