Just heard infamous Peter Strzok was told about this in 2015 and he didn't want to tell Hillary to stop using her server. Seems to me he was the guy in one of those declassified emails that warned people to treat Hillary with kid gloves because she would be President and was basically a bi-tch on wheels. I have no idea about the validity of this specific article cited by the OP however this server would have been known to countries like Russia and China. Given the expertise they can employ and the lack of expertise on Clinton's end the likelihood that server was compromised is very high. For example at some point there was and administrative login open to the public, that would suggest whoever was running this server didn't even take minimal precautions.
Subpoenaed is only half the issue because by law she needed to turn over all work related email for government archives. The FBI was able to obtain about 29K+ emails she never handed over, they obtained these by searching through the government provided email accounts of other employees. There is an undetermined amount of emails that will never see the light of day if they were sent/received from private accounts or the private server. .

Different server. That was caused by the incompetence of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Podesta, and the criminal Pakistani they hired, in fact paid big bucks, to run it.
In this case, we are talking about the US Secretary of State and her conducting official USA business on her private, and apparently Chinese controlled server.
There was 29K+ emails found by the FBI they deemed to be work related that were never turned over. these were obtained through other government supplied email accounts. Comey's determination was that there was an untold amount that will never be recovered becsue of the private server setup which of course was the reason for the private server to begin with.
Even Obama mocked Mitt Romney for asserting that Russia was a serious "enemy" of the U.S. Now that Donald Trump is President, they view Russia differently ...of course. That's because it serves their purpose to do so.
