The problem with infastructure is Conservatives don’t want to spend the money and Liberals give ultimate power to environmentalists so it takes 30 years and $100 billion to build a bridge.

"54,259 of the nation’s 612,677 bridges are rated “structurally deficient.”
Americans cross these deficient bridges 174 million times daily.
Average age of a structurally deficient bridge is 67 years, compared to 40 years for non-deficient bridges.
One in three (226,837) U.S. bridges have identified repair needs.
One in three (17,726) Interstate highway bridges have identified repair needs."

Nice meme. Is that in Dem run places like Chicago? Because I live in Florida and our infrastructure is great.

Okay, first of all, learn the definition of meme. Second, you support Trump, right? You do realize that infrastructure problems in the US were a major talking point of his during the campaign. Other Republican leaning posters have also mentioned the problem right here in the thread. Again, you are just being obtuse and purposefully contrary just for the sake of doing so.

How about you actually post some info for your silly talking points?

You prefer your water to be flammable or full of lead?

Right because every other country has flammable water full of lead, good grief. California is already 10 years or longer behind schedule on their HSR with a finish date in 2033, last year they spent $3 million per day and it's likely to get delayed even more, which will increase the cost by billions. There is no reason for these kinds of projects to take 30 years, by the time it's finally built, it's obsolete or never gets built because of the costs become too much to bear.

over-regulation won't get your water looking like this. If it were up to Rick Scott or Ron DeSantis, we'd probably have oil wells all around the FL coast with tar balls washing up everywhere.

Nice deflection and exaggeration. If Gillum has his way we will be in the same shape as Venezuela.

More likely Denmark or Norway or Finland. You know, countries that constantly are among global leaders in both per capita wealth and other general 'best places to live' metrics. Denmark is also supposed to top Disneyworld in terms of 'happiest place on earth' in many studies. (I think Finland slips down the list because of a general lack of daylight in winter, leading to SAD)

Even orderly and tidy countries get it all wrong on occasion. I'm a big Germany fan as well, but at this point, the completion of Berlin Bradenburg airport and start of commercial flight operations is going to be one of the signs of the apocalypse. ('And lo, I saw Death and his pale horse in the cargo hold arrive on a flight from Atlanta...')
