I am 100% for it and I don't smoke pot. I just believe adults should have a right to consume whatever they choose. And those saying there is some sort of health risk with cannabis. 80% of what most people consume has some amount of health risk. Each individual has the right to decide this.

What is funny is that the U.N. is totally against legalizing it.

Not merely smart but brilliant to get in on the ground floor of that one. Kudos and good fortune to him.

I wonder if the BBC will report increases in car accidents on the holiday of St. Patrick's day... or new years...

Manufactured fear spread by the media... it's good for driving an anti anything agenda...

IMO there wont be an increase in pot smokers when its legalized as those who dont smoke now arent going to all of a sudden become pot heads just because its legal. Those that do smoke pot on a regular basis will just be buying their weed from government outlets instead of the black market.

BINGO...there is the problem right there, THAT is why certain groups are fighting legalization so hard.

It weakens the drug war and the police state in general, it will lead to less budget money for law enforcement to 'fight' the war, less need for agents, equipment, raids, seizures, etc etc.

Keep in mind, its the drug cartels and law enforcement that have the most to loose, naturally they are going to work together on this, to ensure the future is lucrative for both of them, the DEA is the best lobbyist/ enforcement team the drug cartels have at their disposal.
