We have Venezuela that serves as an example of what happens when socialism is allowed to run its course and in the states we have places like San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles and California as a whole that are experiments in Liberal policies and things are not going well.

What do they expect to happen when housing prices are sky high and the divide between people that have and have not is widening. The Dems that run CA seem more willing to help illegal aliens than citizens that have fallen between the cracks of society. I shudder to think what is going to happen to America when the Dems get back in power and turn the nation into one big California..

The report didn't describe any specific crimes. The residents just seem to dislike seeing the homeless in their area.

Unlike good citizens like yourself who invite them into your own home.

The Mayor of L.A , keeps teasing the idea of running in 2020 . He’s gone to states like Iowa etc . I kind of hope he does run since it’ll put a spotlight on how bad things have gotten in L.A . The homeless situation has skyrocketed in L.A since he was elected and he has this very liberal view of the homeless despite all the crime they commit . It’s the same with illegal aliens . “They need this , they need that . They are vulnerable “

He seems to care little about the tax payers and voters . He was elected with so few votes anyways about 300,000 since turnout was so low. The media of course hasn’t help him accountable either .

Homelessness isn't a crime. I want to know what criminal acts they have committed against residents but it wasn't in the report.

6,400 felonies a year .. alone for a population of just about 30,000 !!.. Of course that’s just the ones that are caught .. many aren’t caught .

Homelessness isn’t a crime .. but the homeless commit a lot of serious crime .

Do you consider robbery , grand theft auto , aggravated assault and burglary no big deal ?

It’s the liberal attitude of the homeless as down on their luck angels that makes people think they don’t commit crime .

“About 6,400 homeless people were arrested on felony charges, including robbery, grand theft auto, aggravated assault and burglary, the report said. A Times analysis this year found that homeless arrests had climbed 31% in recent years,”

Of course, I am definitely NOT saying this would be a good solution, and I am definitely NOT advocating for such a thing, but I am wondering whether if things don't improve, there might be some kind of real-life Purge in another 20 years or so.

There was a terrible story recently about a college kid that got attacked /stabbed by a violent homeless person .
I’m wondering if CA had stand your ground laws would this happen as much ?
This type of thing is not an isolated one time event it happens frequently .
