Donald Trump has not been in office long enough to effect the homeless population. But Trumps policies will increase homelessness in the future.

Trump’s budget calls for "drastic cuts to housing benefits that help millions of low income seniors, people with disabilities, families with children, veterans, and other vulnerable people afford their homes."

And Donald Trump has already transferred the funding for the above homeless programs to the richest 0.1% of Americans via the Trump tax cuts.

White collar crime, including our own presidential administration and his "comrades" have committed more serious crimes than most of the homeless, but don't have fancy lawyers to plead down their cases.

The problem w/ homelessness is that it is a symptom of a wider problem. Look at the larger problems and issues of why homelessness occurs. Like wanting to scream at the messenger--the homeless. It's complicated--mental health issues, addiction, learned helplessness, broken down family systems...

Even gates and guards don't keep the crime away. There are constant break ins and robberies in expensive gated communities in So Cal. Same in South Africa, it is not just farmers being hit, but suburban people who live behind gates. There is also car jacking, kidnapping, etc when people leave their homes.

Good Point - they elected these Far Left policies in their State & Local Government.
Homeless and Illegals have more "rights" than Tax Paying Citizens.

Only the Taxpayers can correct their Problems -- quit voting the Leftists into Power.

Something has to get done. I mean it's just getting to be too crazy anymore. The homeless problem has been increasing for years and years now and all of the crime that goes along with it. The area I live in used to be pretty decent, still is in a lot of ways but its getting to where you can't go anywhere without running the gauntlet of pan handlers and I'm starting to see people just openly sleeping on the sidewalks in some parts. I mean it was never like that before.

I was never really into the partisan politics of blaming the democrats or liberals but damn, there are far too many patterns of operating in the far left liberal places like Chicago, SF, LA. I think we're getting a bit too permissive, we need to swing back more toward a middle ground commons sense based approach to managing problems.

The inhumanity of Right Winger Republican types continue to show themselves.....!!!! They certainly have none of the graces that Jesus tried to teach to society nor the words that are made firm in the Bible...

When such types as Republican Right Wingers continue to show so much disdain and pure inhumanity toward those who have the least in society, then they will enact their savagery upon each other as well in their aims at gluttonous hoarding of anything they can seek to covet. They continue to live as did their ancestry, with disdain for that fed the malice of slavery and the disdain for the monetarily poor status of freed slaves, and they still lust for white privilege to dispense with any who does not meet their absorption within their concept of monetary measure of other human being. Yet, they want sympathy and a hand-out with their claim of "we been left behind", "we've been forgotten", while they lust for a return of white privilege, to dispense with people as if they have some superior right to dispose of people who are not like them. these are the same types who think Trump is going to give them something!!!, and make way for them to spread that aim of white dominance, privilege and power over others whom they have no humane regard for.

We've seen it throughout America's History, they just happen to switch up and move from the OLD Southern Democratic Party, OVER TO the CURRENT DAY Republican party, and they still present the same inhumane vile and greed driven covertness.

In honesty, those of the "Right Wing Republicans (Trying to Conserve the Past) of their Rabid Covertness and Self Consumed Gluttonous mentality and manner, are of the type who will die away in the coming decades, those they infect of their young will be met with their justment's for atonement.

They don't think in terms of how to solve a problem, they are only worried that they covet tax monies for themselves. We've seen it before, for 100 yrs of Segregation, they coveted the tax monies paid by minorities for themselves and their communities, to keep their own taxes low, to get what they wanted, at the expense of a whole nation of minority people. They benefited from the Centuries of what slave labor's productions and wealth generation created, and they coveted every aspect and element for their own self consumed slothful gluttony.... Such types are unlikely to ever change, but time has an answer to society for them, and its an answer they can't escape no matter what they hoard or lust for in greediness....

Yes the problem is the worst in the far left places . Of course those on the left will say there is no correlation but we know it’s true . I guess it’s asking too much for people that work and pay the taxes to be able to enjoy their neighborhoods without being accosted all the time . You live in SoCal but It’s probably hard for some people that don’t live here to realize how bad things have gotten .

What does the homeless situation have to do with the bogus concept of “white privilege”?
Did anyone make it about race ?
Also a lot of the homeless in L.A are ... white . So what happened? Their white privilege card expired or something ?
