I promise you he did this many times before. I also promise you that it happens tens of thousands of times nationwide.
The "system" protects them and often their leaders are as corrupt as they are. Terrible thing.
Oh I'm sure you're right about incidents occurring often. Don't doubt that.
A cop near where I lived a few yrs back stalked a girl after pulling her over and apparently wanted something more. He waited late one night and pulled her over. Reportedly he propositioned her and she declined, so he decided he had to kill her to keep the incident quiet.
I agree with that--except for the fact that their paychecks and pension are funded directly from MY stolen income. Those who choose government jobs are committing theft.
I would never, ever, EVER penalize an individual for either being a producer or working for a producer. Producers create wealth, while the State destroys wealth.
Still not going to penalize them for it. I hate pensions as much as I hate unions. There are plenty of cops who do it for the simple reason that they want to help people, I just can't bring myself to blame them for a system that the government set up.
If one wanted to they could fill this board up with stories of bad cops.
Because of protests they are finally starting to be held accountable.
That is also good for the good cops.
much more than protests, which do nothing but upset people. what is really making the difference is citizen exercising their first amendment rights and filming the cops in action, and standing up for their rights when these bad cops try to violate them by intimidation, assault an battery, theft, forcing people with arrest if they dont provide their IDs when doing nothing wrong, etc.
so get out and film the cops, and file charges against the bad ones, and not just civil charges and police complaints either, but go to the local and state attorneys offices and file criminal charges against them, and give over copies of the video evidence, remember to keep copies for yourself as well so when the video you gave as evidence gets "lost" in the system, you can provide it again.
if we citizens dont hold the bad cops accountable, then they will continue to be thugs with a badge. we need to constantly remind the cops that they work for us, and the badge they wear is not permission to violate the rights of us private citizens.
and always remember to ask every cop you get on film for their name and badge number, and video their car number as well.

That may be, but they'd be much better served working for a private police agency.
I understand the sentiment, but they're giving explicit consent to the State when they decide to become one of its employees. No_Recess is a perfect example; he worked for the government, but saw the light and got the hell out. I used to work for Lockheed developing government death weapons; I got the hell out, too.

Forgive the sins of my indoctrinated brain. Detox takes awhile.
