Please go back and read posts before you reply. I was responding to a poster that said liberals should bow down to Trump. Showing respect to other countries is what a president does. Everyone bows down to the queen. Oh but has Trump even met her

You mean the country that walked away because trump got caught saying he would give nothing in the negotiations so they look bad?

If you're going to comment on trump, you have to do an update for his stance before hand, and I mean every 24 hours because he changes his mind that fast. That's NOT a positive. He doesn't know what his stance is from minute to minute. Whatever he thinks his base will buy.

Laura Ingraham tonight is claiming that nobody thought Trump could get any deal ....and it is going to happen.

New spin for them.

Reality -- folks are skeptical that Trump can close a deal that is that AMAZING. He's going to close a deal with Canada but it will be a normal deal -- give some, lose some -- everyone wins.

And reality -- that would have probably happened without all the drama mamma show.

What is it with you people?

You start threads citing no source for your information, then never bother to follow with facts that prove they aren't true.

Am not a "liberal", but if that means knowing how to read, write and engage in critical thinking, then so be it: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/31/b...ada-nafta.html

As of Friday evening there is *NO* deal with Canada regarding NAFTA, nor does it seem there will be over long holiday weekend.

It can't be done. That's the kind of stuff Trump gets done !!!
What was done?

Nothing done, yet.

The legislative bodies of all three countries have to approve whatever it is , the US, Mexico and/ or Canada concluded.

You never know with Trump whether the media outlet is the source of the "off the record" leak, if it was Trump himself, "John Barron", or someone else in the White House.

Nothing was done, or agreed upon, and Trump had to come up with a new deadline.
