Kanye will move on to something else before he needs to campaign. Publicity - good or bad - is a money driver, and West knows it. This is just another vehicle for him.

Based on who they just elected, Kanye would have a good chance of winning the nomination. GOP voters prefer loud-mouthed entertainment figures with zero political experience and vague political goals.

How do you ignore a guy who has a serious chance of becoming president. Remember. Sarah Palin almost became VP. And then we got Trump. Kanye could win as a republican. It's not far fetched at all.
