So who didn't see this coming?
Trump is, if anything, predictable. Believe the unbelievable is true. He's been telling us that since he glided down the escalator at Trump Tower.
There are many who swallow his gravy now.

That said, I wonder if Mueller's report will be issued prior to this election anyway.

New people are still popping up and pleading guilty.

Trump's long-time accountant, his former WH Counsel, his former personal attorney, and the publisher of the National Enquirer, claiming a safe full of Trump secrets, are all talking with the Special Counsel prosecutors.

Manafort was seeking a plea deal. Reportedly, talks have broken down. But who knows, really?

Lot of new information to plow through. New dots to connect. This will take a while.

Scrutiny is Trump’s kryptonite and this business of keeping the Mueller report under wraps is likely just the start of a slew of nonsense from the ever-more-frantic Trump and the ridiculous Giuliani.

If there is nothing to the report, as we have been told by The Cult, then what are they afraid of?

"Rudy has already floated the idea of releasing his own counter-report aimed at discrediting Mueller, seemingly under the premise that the fate of the nation is going to come down to dueling book reports."

It will be interesting to see if Judicial Watch pursues a FOIA request as vigorously as they pursue other FOIA releases or will they be the partisans we know them to be and claim that they aren't.

Trump is digging a hole for himself and no matter what he does, he cannot stop digging.

It's easy to write a counter report, because you know everything you lied about to Mueller.

So why is Trump trying to keep voters from knowing what was found in the investigation their tax dollars pay for?

What is Trump trying to hide?

Mueller is also working on a rebuttal to Mueller's report. What kind of banana republic do we have where the rebuttal is available but the actual report is not?
Seems to me Trump would want Mueller's report exonerating him published immediately. If it was me, I'd be offering to share the cost of publishing and distribution so that everyone knew I was completely innocent of any wrongdoing.

Why would he want such great news kept secret?

It is such a stupid move I cannot believe they are even thinking about it. Oh, yeah, it's Rudy...

The country is waiting with baited breath to see this report. Trump tries to block it, and he very well could end up like Nixon. There would be protests in the street.

Besides--they cannot really stop it. Someone could just release it to the press. If it was Trump that is what he would do.
