Nike has some balls....it supports and pays millions of dollars to a millionaire athlete that accuses the United States of oppression while it has a bunch of sweatshops in China exploiting poor people. LMAO!!!

Eh, kinda. Remember, Nike isn't just sports apparel but workout too. Not that they are the only one in that market, but they have a pretty sizable amount of it. IFF the people stop buying Nike when their shoes wearout or their clothes don't fit, you may have a quantifiable drop but not worth the market cap loss or the stock price drop. It was people jumping the gun or dumping the stock because of their own political bias.
I never did understand this way of thinking. Supporting a Black athlete by buying shoes because of sponsors makes no sense. All they are doing in enriching the evil white man even more as he pimps out that Black athlete knowing easily impressionable kids will eat it up. These athletes make so much money, if they were truly all about Black power, wouldn't it make more sense to create their own independent shoe company? Hire graduates from all Black colleges to engineer and design everything from the shoes to the machines that make them. Hire nothing but Black employees to manufacture the shoes. Start up their own version of Amazon and their own stores. This is what I think they should do instead of just becoming another puppet for white corporate America. They could even place these plants in the poor ghetto areas and get these people off the streets and employed.
But wouldn't that be racist? Oh, I forgot, nothing is ALL WHITE. I am sure your idea will become true one day. But let a company only hire whites, such as one as big as Amazon, and imagine the lawsuits. I am sure you only buy and give your money to only black owned companies. How is that working out for you?
