I almost feel sorry for Kellyanne. I am certain the aftermath of that phone call has been terribly unpleasant for her.

Especially since her husband has been publicly calling out Trump regularly and she can't stop him. This can't be going well ...

Why would he be taking a phone call and allow a staff person to just walk in while he's talking? Sounds a little fishy to me, like he wanted her in the room to back his claim but it didn't quite work out that way when they found out Woodward was recording the conversation.

The two are not mutually exclusive in his case.

Well, she should know by now that when things go wrong for him, someone’s going under the bus. And it can’t be news to anyone that you don’t want to the bearer of bad news.

Although if it’s true that no one told Trump that Woodward was writing a book about him, he was indeed very poorly served. If a boss can’t trust his aides, and the aides don’t trust their boss - well, it kind of proves the point of Woodward’s book, doesn’t it?

Yet you did not give ANY reason why he's relevant beyond the events of 1974. This speaks for itself. Now if you wish to respond by googling up something, that will be more of such an indication that even you can't put it into words.

Of course, unless it was written about Obama, then we need to take the book seriously.

In the call, he briefly acknowledged that at least Sen. Graham had talked to him about it, but then went back to saying no one had. Sigh
