You do realize that a number of our Founding Fathers were Deists, right?
That doesn't really mean anything or have any relevancy to the point at hand. Besides, what that typically meant at the time is someone who was raised Christian, believed in one god, but believed he was uninvolved in day to day life.
More whites are killed by cops? Not on a per capita basis.
You do realize whites commit less crime on a per capita basis right? For example whites commit murder at a rate of around 2 per 100,000 vs black about 20 per 100,000 or over 7x times on a per capita basis. You think maybe violent crime rate might explain being killed by police rate?
Gays don't deserve marriage benefits from society, straights do or at least I have no real objection to widowed or divorced housewives and mothers getting benefits.
Canada doesn't have the Bible Belt and the extremely powerful, very regressive, and highly authoritarian Southern Baptist convention or its numerous offshoots that together make up the white evangelical voting bloc. That fact alone makes a huge difference. American evangelicals are a special type of Christian that is at odds with most of Christianity both in the US and globally.
You are making up imaginary villains and trying to reimagine America's heritage. America was/is a de facto white Christian country from its origin in 1607 to present. It's never been a theocracy or fascist. The idea of mass immigration and multiculturalism to dilute and displace "white Christian America" is a mid 1960s movement. That's why we shouldn't have had so much immigration. It brings in more division and unpatriotic people and ideas.
We had open immigration prior to the Chinese Exclusion Act of the 1880s and the implementation of a qouta system in the 1920s.
Are white Christians better than other Christians..or adherents of other faiths or of no religion at all? How so?
And, yes, at times it was very theocratic...especially if we are going back to 1607.
Early colonial America was not theocratic?
So are liberals. For instance they don't understand X and y chromosomes and genetic recombination, or heredity.
