What’s fishy to me is — why the NYT then?
He is just preaching to the choir. If he is really a senior WH republican who is that worried, you’d
go to FOX, WSJ or a conservative outlet to let the people of consequence know, not a bunch of elitist liberals.
Faux News would bury it - why write it to have it buried? That would be ironic - like Trump wanting to buy all the killed stories about him from the National Enquirer.
Sounded to me like it was written by some of our usual posters around CD. It had no real substance and just uses the same tired phrases and silly accusations we hear on CD........"impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective"
"Thwart The President" from what?.........Making speeches? Playing golf? Campaigning for The Wall? Tweeting?
Trump probably tried to get a single payers healthcare system going and the Republicans are like, WHAT?...We better protect the nation against this fool. lol
He's not really that Republican when it comes to policy. I can see them freaking out from time to time.
Was Trump this way before he sat his ample rear in the most important chair in the US? I just recall him being an insufferable, reality show presence but not unhinged. He sounds exactly like one of those comic book villains who gains access to great power and then goes balls to the walls C R A Y Z E E.

Non story.
So your defense of the president is he does nothing anyway?

funny thing is the White House isn't calling it fake,
The White House press secretary says the author of a “resistance” op-ed published by The New York Times is a “coward” who should “do the right thing and resign.”
Quote:
Sarah Huckabee Sanders says the author — identified only as a senior administration official — has chosen to “deceive, rather than support, the duly elected President of the United States.” She also accuses the individual of putting himself or herself ahead of the will of the American people. https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...=.6f7535a9e958
But when you are looking at an ocean of garbage, and another piece floats to the top, you are simply not surprised.
I personally believe this is significant and it is time for congress to do something. I will not get my hopes up but the whole White House has gone beyond ridiculous.
I have called Trump amoral on several occasions. That is his biggest downfall. I could accept ignorance, even stupidity when it is just a matter of differing opinions, but total lack of any moral compass is just not acceptable.
Haley is an excellent possibility. She's smart, principled, conservative and sane. But...she is very ambitious and I think she would be worried that if she were outed, her political career and ambitions would be blocked by the alt-right Trump cult.
