Again, just your opinion. Bill Clinton was a moral monster. Did it trouble you?
We're talking about the letter to the NYT. You say it's gaslighting. I say Trump is susceptible to gaslighting because he's paranoid and in way over his head.
Bill Clinton has nothing to do with any of it and I'm not going to play your whatabout game.
I'd think that Sessions was certainly part of this inside job, for the sake of GOP integrity, Trump will necessarily be silenced or at the least, quieted down. My guess is that the anonymity bears the stamp of this being the work of more than just one person. Like Nixon, and Johnson, Hitler and others of the authoritarian persuasion, Trump's henchmen will see his unwieldy character as their ticket to the unemployment line and worse, political obscurity..I'm no Clinton fan, and I surely don't trust the mainstream media but--We are talking about the Golden Golem of Greatness here..
I share the opinion of some others on this thread that if the SHTF, the writer can come forward to take some bows and say, "See, I tried to do the right thing." However, that wouldn't carry any weight with me because I think anyone who had been around Trump on an almost daily basis for more than a couple of weeks within the past three years would have KNOWN the man has some mental issues a long time ago and would have issued a stronger warning that was not anonymous if s/he was so concerned and truly cared about this country . . . but that's just my opinion, of course.
I believe the Op-Ed to be the genuine work of a senior official, but I don't feel qualified to take a guess as to the identity of the writer. That said, I think there are likely clues in the wording, particularly the term "steady state." I'm thinking someone with a background in economics or engineering.
