And she had just finished 14 hours of delivering serving warrants on dangerous criminals. Like with most things like this, when all the facts come out it is in fact a very sad misunderstanding.

I don't think there will be anyone saying Jean was at fault - he was a lovely young man, and his early death is a loss.
How does “in his underwear” become “nearly nude”...?

Because conservatives are already working to turning Botham Jean into a hardened criminal. Baby steps. Just wait and see. Now they are claiming he was nearly nude. Eventually, it will be he was coming at her intending on raping her or something like that.

Remember how they turned Philando Castille into a hardened criminal over time? It will happen to Botham Jean soon. Just wait and see.

Well, my favorite gun forum is full of super-conservatives, yet they were on Castile's side and are unanimous in vilifying this officer.

Does it matter either way?

He was in his home, he could dance around nude with the curtains closed.

I bet she was drunk, it was her birthday apparently, which would somewhat explain the wrong floor. Sober people wouldn't go as far as trying to open the door.

Well the Spin has to start somewhere..... how else will they get to a point where they could argue "she feared for her life".
Somewhere else I read she already said she issued verbal commands he ignored.

The nerve of him, ignoring commands from law enforcement in his home and half nude at that......

Did this woman even know her own address???

"She entered the apartment and called 911, requesting an ambulance and police. When 911 asked for her location, she checked outside the apartment and realized she was at the wrong apartment, Armstrong wrote in the affidavit."

If she had to go out the door to give 911 her location, the prosecutor should be all over that.

Anonymous posting on the internet makes you into the "silent majority", aka irrelevant. The NRA was completely silent about Castille. Conservative media made Castille out to be a criminal.

LOL. No kidding. Americans have a right to be armed, but if you're going to pull the trigger, you better be sure you know the situation.

Not only does it sound like she didn't know her address, it sounds like she's full on lying.

"Still, Lee Merritt, an attorney representing the Jean family, told The Washington Post that Guyger’s claims in the affidavit are inconsistent with evidence that has been presented to the district attorney. “There are witnesses who said that before the gunshots they heard the officer knocking at the door and repeatedly saying, ‘Let me in.’”
