Here are some "Contemporaneous Notes" for Future Reference.

Monday Sept 3, 2018 -- It's Labor Day Weekend, a Holiday for the Working Folk, a brief respite to celebrate the fruits of our labors. Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Ice Cream. The Twin Funerals of 2 Iconic Americans are now winding down, both seemingly longer than a Jerry Lewis Telethon. Our Tweeter-in-Chief played golf, looking forward to a short 4-day week and a gentle easing into the Change of Seasons.

Tuesday Sept 4, 2018
-- Ka-Boom !! Excerpts from a Book are released today. Not just any old Book and not just any old Author......this is Bob Woodward, noted chronicler of every President since Nixon. You can name any major Literary Award and chances are he has more than one sitting on his shelf. His book excerpts are filled with phrases like "nervous breakdown" "off the rails" "fifth-grader" and "Crazytown". When your Lawyer's best advice is "Don't testify -- It's either that or an orange jumpsuit" your level of attention surely must go up.
It should be noted, that this new book is not Michael Wolff or Omarosa spinning tall tales. This is an Investigative Reporter whose bona fides include busting open the Watergate Scandal and exposing the Iran-Contra fiasco. I doubt this man would jeopardize his reputation, built over 35 years, just to publish a work of fiction.
The Tape of a phone call between Bob Woodward and The Donald comes out.....Trumpster denying that anyone ever told him about Bob's request for interview and then handing the phone to Kellyanne Conway, who tells Bob "I can only take it so far." For slipping in that double entendre, K-Y Jelly Kelly got a good taste of a bus tire from her boss.
Of course the Tribal Chant of Fake News was heard erupting from 1600 Pennsy. Bob Woodward fell all the way down from "always been very fair" to a "fraud" and a "con on the public" And then Donnie proceeded to run his own con, claiming that "nobody's ever done a better job than I'm doing as Prez"
Ergo -- Bob Woodward is a Fraud, but the National Enquirer deserves a Pulitzer for their reportage that Ted Cruz's Dad was linked to Lee Harvey Oswald ?? OK Littlefinger, you are the Mayor of Crazytown.

Wednesday Sept 5, 2018 -- Today the New York Times publishes an anonymous Op-Ed Letter from someone claiming a high position within the Administration. This one is full of scary words too. It doesn't really matter who wrote this piece -- the fact that half of America thinks it's plausible that the Chief Executive is so severely limited in his understanding of the Office that he needs handlers to keep from plunging the planet into perpetual darkness. A spontaneous #NotMe movement springs forth from the loyal Cabinet members. Lie Detectors and Loyalty Oaths are mentioned in the West Wing for the first time.

Thursday Sept 6, 2018 -- Predictably this morning, the White House erupts with a tweetstorm the likes of which the world has not seen for a few days. Round up the usual suspects, Turn the Treasonous Opinion Writer over to the Government for punishment (this should sound like Germany in the early 1930's to those paying attention).
The NFL opens their season on Prime Time TV, and a few SOB's kneel thru the National Anthem. Their Protestations are made even more disgraceful when nary a one of them gives any part of their game check to any local community program.

Friday Sept 7, 2018 -- On the Road Again, Trump is preaching to his Base in Montana and North Dakota (each 90% White and each with a whopping 3 Electoral votes). At the same time, some guy named Obama is also preaching. And like what he says or not --if his oration brings a large previously absent demographic into the election process.....it's game over.

LOL, more judges being confirmed and Trump is still President.

I hear the economy is also booming no thanks to "you didn't build that" Obama.

Who do you have that will beat him in the 2020 elections?

Dont worry. Dems will manage to nominate someone even worse. Why not blow the equivalent of a 1/2 inch putt AGAIN?

The Kavanaugh nomination was a foregone conclusion. The grandstanding you see by Dems is only theatrics for their upcoming elections.

The economic "boom" you're referring to could have been triggered by any politician stoopid enough to add a Trillion or so to the deficit. Actually a close look at the data shows a very poor economic return for that Wealth Transfer.

If Trump does make it to 2020 (and it looks more doubtful every day),it doesn't matter who the Dems run, there will be a much higher turnout than Hillary got. And a much closer watch on the voting process.

So because the voters in those states are white and don't hold many electoral votes, they should be ignored by members of the federal government? I guess unless you are a minority in California or New York or similar, you are unimportant to libs.

Obama can talk all he wants. He was good at talking. President Trump, however, is the one actually bringing jobs to people of all races and ethnicities.

“It doesn’t matter who the Dems run”

Great advice! Hope they heed it
