We committed worse acts to the natives than the holocaust, and we continue to commit atrocities to this day. We only stopped experimenting on native school children in the 90s, and we still keep them in excessive poverty. Now we want to destroy what is left.

Every American president should face an international tribunal for these acts and be sentenced to death.

Just when I thought I'd heard of every conceivable scare-tactic angle about Kavanaugh... I gotta say, this one takes the biscuit.

That's why we went to the moon.

We thought there was more N.A. land up there.

Everyone in Indian country knows that.

If you are so outraged about the theft of land, then why did you or your family migrate to the US? You see, any person who does not have any Native American blood in them has indirectly given his blessings to colonialism. You and I are both invaders.

This is more of a response to the actual title of the thread rather than the link you posted. I will say that I agree with the general premise of protecting NA people and their culture.

I just did a quick scan of the article, but it seems merely to be an opinion piece. I saw no mention of specific cases that Kavanaugh had ruled on with regards to the sovereignty of Native tribes.

His record, in fact, shows strong respect for precedent, which is well established in this area.

Maybe Kavanaugh should stop supporting theft and illegal atrocities.

He should be condemned, not rewarded.

I live on the land I live on. As far as I'm concerned, natives should be allowed to operate their affairs however they see fit.

Sadly our government keeps them confined and in violent poverty. This must stop now.

You seem to be in possession of knowledge the rest of us are not privy to. Care to post some links to some of his opinions, where he supports 'theft and illegal atrocities'?

While you were responding to me, I edited my response to further reflect on the topic at hand.

If people living in a world that operated under the right of conquest and they wander into a vast wilderness and other small groups of people already living in that wilderness kill and capture them, they have a right at that time and place to struggle against their adversary.

There's a better case for arguing that immigrants today legal and illegal are killing and stealing from the American people.
