Excellent analysis there sir. I'm glad that marketing degree enhanced your cognitive skills on this issue.

Wake up, he never said Mexico would pay for it DIRECTLY by writing a check.
He did say they would pay for it Indirectly -with tariffs, currency fluctuation, taxes on phone calls, or something like that.

I say it is high time. What does he have to lose?! Build it and build it now. Steam roll over Democrats if they won’t cooperate. It’s really sad what the Democrats have become.
He should ask his Son in Law. He knows how they do it in middle east, since Palestinians have been doing it for 70 years.

Tariffs are paid for by US consumers, currency fluctuations don't provide the US with any additional cash, taxes on phone calls aren't going to provide billions, so I guess the plan is "something like that". Which is actually quite specific for a Trump initiative.

(You forgot the tax on sending money overseas, which admittedly is DOA. Bitcoin etc. is actually useful for this sort of thing, and besides the political donor class does not want the government looking into foreign bank transfers, thankyouverymuch.)

Even if we had to pay for it it would be a lot cheaper than the over $100 billion a year that illegal aliens cost us and that's only their fiscal costs. Here's the plan to make Mexico pay for it. What kind of path are you on to deny our right to secure our border?

No, the real reason they oppose it is because they know it will work. While they complain about foreign influence in elections, their entire electoral strategy is importing as many Hispanics as possible to influence elections.

GOP controls Congress and the Oval Office.

It has provide the American people with the highest EVER deficit and increase in the debt. What ever happened to be fiscally conservative and responsible? Do you support that?

Yeah, steamrolling over the Dems may be the easier part being that the wall would traverse over the Rio Grande and other challenging topography. Also most of the land in TX that would be required for the wall is privately owned. Have fun with that one.

But with Trump, all he has to do is wave his magic wand, or in this case, pronounce it so, and poof, a wall! Has no one who agrees with building this wall done any research at all? He can scream build a wall until the cows come home. Won't make it so.

What a joke.

What a joke.

The challenging topography isn't where the wall is to be built. Those areas have natural barriers to illegal entry. We need the wall on the most porous areas of our border which is 700 miles. If Texans don't want to sell some of their land for the wall then let them deal with the drug cartels and illegal aliens trespassing on their property all by themselves. It would serve them right.

If all Trump had to do was wave his magic wand and the wall would be built then why hasn't it been built already? Oh, yes I have done my research on the wall. May I refer you to my post #52?

The joke is the anti-wall people who have read the effectiveness of it and yet still stick their heads in the sand.

Those touting the land is"privately owned" fail to mention eminant domain.
If the government wants the land, the government will get the land.
