This person is so weird and insane that I tried but I can't even watch his interview. I have never watched any movie he is in. I have seen him in a few interviews and that was enough to tell me that he has nothing to say that I would give any credence to.

I don't really have an opinion on socialism to say enough about it but I have to say that I thought it was weird how there was a few times he started to say something but then they went to the other person. I don't know if this was intentional on his part because he changed his mind or they actually did cut him off (hope it's the former because I love Jim Carrey and would hate to think they cut him off) but it was very awkward to watch.

My other thought is I disagree with Jim on one part. He said something about how we could eventually find common ground with Trump supporters. There is none..we are just too different. I can barely find common ground with fellow Democrats but a Trump supporter? Instead of women are from Venus and men are from mars, we are from Venus and Trump supporters are from Mars. I do sincerely appreciate his optimism but it's just not going to happen.

You're not exactly instilling confidence in me that your opinion is an informed one, but just a quick judgement.

You have not seen a Jim Carrey movie? Mannn, how deep did you go under that rock? You missed out..

Edit:
And he had some good serious roles too:

There was an interesting interview with Jim. Forgot who interviewed him, but he said that for comedians like him, the hardest part is being taken seriously in real life. Everyone expects him to be funny, but they don't care to know him as a person. That's probably one of the most depressing things I've heard. Just an example of how you sell part of your soul for fame. Reminds me of Robin Williams as well.

They're weird, over the top, but many people have fond memories of their movies growing up.

Rosie O'donnell's compulsive anti-trump twitter rants (and artworks) and jim carrey's constant production of goulish anti-trump artworks (and twitter rants) reveal much about these people's mental state. both of them seem mentally unhinged to me.

I think Jim Carrey is entitled to his opinion. He was also on the anti vaccination bandwagon with his former dingbat girlfriend. What he thinks, or doesn’t think, has no effect on me one way or another.

Fascist Nations, like using other peoples money, after they get their cut.
The problem occurs when you run out of other peoples money. We have many examples of this in History.

The women were running on their identity, not any policy, Bill!
Democrats rediscovered they really are Communist.
Pulling money from the economy, to redistribute to those with no productivity and way less value in society, leads to economic ruin, with stagnation, until other peoples money finally runs out and everyone but the elite getting their cut off the top, is in economic ruin. Cuba.... El Salvador... Nicaragua... Venezuela...
Hugo Chavez was the Democrats Hero, there until he wasn't.

Bill Maher is a misanthrope, he hates people. Everybody. Carrey is a messed up guy that spent too much time in Hollywood and its dark side has eroded what sanity he had. He's not the creepy crawley Stephen Colbert is, that guy hob nobs with the Podestas. But Carrey is like a Norma Desmond in a way. Heading for La La Land.
