Basically, the Democrats blew it.

Elections have consequences. One of them is that, if you lose, you can't dictate what the Senate does any more.

I hope Democratic constituents see the good results President Trump has produced in the last 2 years, and how politicians on the left, in both the House and the Senate, have only been obstructionists to Trump's agenda. There are still good Democratic voters out there, and I hope they realize how the socialist left are trying to take over their party, and the dangers of allowing Nancy Pelosi to be the Speaker Of The House, and giving Maxine Waters even more power! Those 2 and others like them need to be voted out of the house.

As a former registered Democrat, I can say that I got sick and tired of the Democratic party's agenda that has drifted too far away from the basic and good principles that kept our nation strong.

I can quite clearly tell you that the ONLY people who see 'good results' from Trump are members of his cult.

With your *itching about Pelosi, Waters, and democratic socialism - I really don't see you as a democrat at all.

Do you have any comments from Mark Levin when Garland was dismissed, where was his outrage when they blocked Garland without a hearing without a vote. This is what the banana republic looks like.

Yes, Garland should have been heard.

The Dems are now just trying to get their reparations for Garland. It's a disgusting political soup we've thrown together.

It was Barack Obama's right to nominate a candidate for the Supreme Court. The GOP refused to even have a hearing. No Congress in U.S. history has denied a sitting president the right to a SC nomination and hearing. None. The GOP have stolen the government. But in November, we will be kicking their sorry, corrupt, bought-off a$$e$ to the curb. What the nation witnessed today sealed the deal. Not for the FOX crowd, I know, but they're in for an awakening.

The Dems need to grow a pair and add more judges when they take back the house and the Senate. Kavanaugh and Gorsuch showed their lack of integrity when they failed to acknowledge that a seat was stolen. Both are corporate tools.
I keep asking this, but no one answers: if the seat was "stolen" why isn't it being challenged in court? My dictionary defines theft as an "unlawful taking."

Also, as has been pointed out, the delay tactic was originally proposed by Sen. Joe Biden (D,DE). Was this a "crooked, thieving" proposal?

Yeah we kind of did. This thread is just partisan nonsense. People need to use their brains and start thinking about the country rather then trying to justify their parties dirty tricks.
Their job, per article 2 section 2 of the Constitution is "advice and consent." By implication they have the power to withhold consent. So they did do "their job." I didn't like it at the time, and I'm sure Republicans would have screamed in 1991 if Biden had done it (he never got the opportunity). But let's not make stuff up here.

Garland was nominated March 16, 2016, or about 3.5 months before the end of the 2016 SCOTUS term. So it was 3.5 months, not a year. Any more nonsense?
