With all the coverage for his funeral, someone mentioned a line from McCain's book, The Restless Wave, about Trump:

"Flattery secures his friendship, criticism his enmity."

That covers it nicely. International heads of state already figured that out - look at the way the Saudis butter him up.

Perhaps its b/c they speak and write English at a level you may not be familiar with.

But IT may leave the imagination disturbed. Likely right where it was found.

Try looking in a dictionary sometime before looking educated.
( educated, now there is a loose word)
