How is this any different from all the other news media that tried to get voters to vote for certain candidates?
True. Fox likes to hire potential Republican candidates to appear on their network and get added visibility in order to aid in their election. They do it all the time. And in return, Trump likes to hire Fox employees to work in the White House.

I think the liberal news media helped Trump win more than Fox, but I think you got my point.
1. They say, sure maybe Russia did try to help Trump, but their efforts are not what won him the election, so Russia should be ignored.
2. They say Google tried to help Clinton but she lost, so any supposed efforts they made should be...addressed?
How does that work?
Speculation that Russia may have interfered in the election originated with the same people that claimed Trump colluded with Russian state actors to hack the DNC servers.
Still no proof of either actually happening.
As for the Democratic candidate, she lost in spite of her many unfair advantages.
This, apparently, includes help from Internet monopolies.
The only thing that might be news would be if you found some social-media outfit that DIDN'T boost Hillary, Bernie etc.
