I applaud Mr. Shaw.
(But I couldn't do that.)

The point isn't someone managed to stop a gunman.

The point is why there is a gunman in the first place. Take away the guns and this would be barely news:

Crazy man with baseball bat easily gets overpowered by patrons at restaurants.

Or.........

Yours is an argument that one can not win. Laws do not apply to those intent on breaking them. Your argument IMO only harms the bigger argument here. One does not have to be armed to come out on top.

I am pro 2nd Amendment (I support the entire Constitution) but I have zero desire to walk around armed. This guy did alright for himself.

Pro-gun people always think things would turn out better with more guns...

Here's a another failed topic that depends upon us accepting that the OP knows what 10s of millions of people might be thinking. It's nothing but an attempt to push narrative using a logical fallacy.

Show us one post on CD where any responsible gun owner has said that "things always turn out better with guns".

I have been condemned more than once for being pro 2nd Amendment but having no desire to actually own or carry a gun myself.

{edit} you changed your reply so........you are also cherry picking by throwing in the word "responsible". It gives you an easy out.

Yes--only cops should have guns. Especially so they can break into your apartment and shoot you dead for no reason.

Does Donald Trump deserve armed security?
