My father always wished that they had guns when the Reds came in 1927 and shot my grandmother and took over the family farm. Making him an orphan at the age of 10.
Tyranny in the US is....well minor...compared to tyranny in the rest of world.
The US is special.
My mother always said the only TWO things wrong with Americans.....
1) they are incredible naive
2) they don't realize how lucky they are
ps...the rest of the world does....which is why everybody tries to get here.
My family fought and died in the Lebanese Civil War. Unlike the posters on here, we witnessed war and destruction first hand.
Its why I find the idealistic notions of the armed American citizen raising up to defend liberty to be hilariously naive.

Naive is believing the .gov has your best interests in mind.
Naive is believing what you describe can't/won't happen here.
Naive and ignorance believing what you describe, can't or won't happen.
Naive is believing someone else is responsible for your safety security and well being.
You can wave your white flags as you are rounded up on cattle cars or marched out to the sea. That's your choice.
Others may go out laying next to a pile of spent brass.
That's their choice.
Here in America we have this thing called choice... this isn't Lebanon.
Don't like it? Go back to Lebanon.
....you just said here in America we have a thing called choice. Then presented only two possible choices. Irony seems to be lost on you.....
We have a constitution that protects the right to keep and bear arms.
Don't like it? Why flee to a country that allows citizens to own firearms?
I mean surely as demonstrated by you and the other lemming, guns aren't needed to resolve conflict so why not stay put and use your words there in the civil war?
Surely that would have prevented any conflict... right?
No sarcasm... I may have the terminology slightly wrong. Perhaps I should have said "high caliper clip." In any case, you know what I mean. I am the first to admit I am not an expert on guns, but what I do know is that something must be done to stop the mass slaughter of innocents. What kind of civilized nation allows these high caliper clips to remain legal, when so many are being slaughtered?
DiFi, is that you? Well, it's the same nation that lets unlimited illegal immigration flow through our borders. It's the same nation that is allowing unfettered "legal" immigration from Countries with no documentation of their own. That nation. How is this working out for us?
400 million guns and growing daily. Ya'all need to start focusing on the criminals within our population and not something you will never, ever be able to control. Most firearms to this day are not traceable.
