Oh please. Anyone who can sit here and remotely believe that the response for Puerto Rico has been anything other than dreadful is full of crap. The conditions were terrible before the hurricane, but it appears the mainlands assistance is an afterthought compared to other recent weather recoveries here in the States. Trump opening his mouth on the subject makes the situation worse. If he had anybody smart working for him, or if he was smart himself, Trump would remain silent on the subject. All he does is put a spotlight on it, and there's very little to see.

Exactly. And that level of "dreadful" is what the Puerto Ricans deserve for their ill-maintained island. The mainland didn't owe them an upgraded level of life AFTER Maria. Puerto Rico as only a US territory isn't owed better housing when they have mismanaged their island into so much mess and debt BEFORE the hurricane.
Hurricane Maria was not Puerto Rico's chance at having their island rebuilt as better than before by the mainland.
Again, as Americans they are free to leave their island and go the mainland for a chance at a better life. If they want their island modernized and made better, that is all on THEM, not Trump or FEMA.
And 3000 deaths isn't that bad considering that PR's population is 3.68 million... AND factoring in their extremely primitive living conditions, all the people living in remote and rural areas AND the power of that hurricane. AND how far away Puerto Rico is from the coastline of the US.
"Extremely primitive living conditions"? Have you ever been to Puerto Rico?
If you think Puerto Rico is too far away, what do you think of Hawaii then? Guam? I guess they should expect to wait several months or even years before receiving any help from the rest of the US since they are much farther away.
And if, according to you, 3000 deaths isn't that bad in a population of 3.68 million, then 3000 deaths in a population of ~300 million must be even more negligible, and yet we commemorate 9/11 every year. Do you think that practice should stop?
Are liberals so dumb that they think Trump was referring to the storm itself and not the federal governmnet’s response?
Better question:
Is Retroit so dumb that he thinks liberals are referring to the storm itself and not the federal government's pathetic response vis-Ã -vis Drumpf's "unsung success" comment?

BTW My comment here is not related to any specific situation. The fake news reports so much baloney that who knows what the real facts are concering PR or anything else that occurs.
Yes, the MSM fake news has killed all credibility with much of the public.
You really want to try and sell the BS that Trump doesn't report a YUGE amount of baloney about what a "stable genius" he is? He must think he's Mr. Ed.
And you've supplied nothing to refute the claims of what happened/didn't happen in Puerto Rico.
Seriously, the man has the power of FEMA, the US military, the coast guard, and so on, and you are attempting to compare the actions of a private citizen to the president. Now that it is some derangement syndrome right there, the incredibly low bar you have for the man with the most power in the nation.
Oh my! You've spent the entirety of your post castigating a people for having the same societal conditions to overcome as all those rural areas of the southern U.S.A.
How would you feel if someone suggested those areas of Kentucky, the Virginias, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, the Carolinas, even parts of Tennessee known for their poverty and ignorance to go pound sand due to their not contributing to fixing their crumbling infrastructure.
Also; did the death count entirely escape your notice?
Liberal policies killed those people. Liberals and their lunacy are completely to blame. And watch nothing there change.
