Wow, I JUST saw this.

Apparently Trump approved this transfer of funds away from FEMA about a month ago, right before the start of hurricane season.

I don't even know what to say anymore. The first year of Trump's presidency was fun to watch, as the entire thing has been a clown show. But now he's making REAL decisions that are endangering the lives of American citizens.

Democrats, please vote in November. Please. I, a republican voter for 22 years, will be voting straight democrat down the ballot.

That's what I think too. There is something truly wrong with his powers of observation and communication and decision making capacity. The "funny" clip that was going around of him coloring the US flag completely wrong is just another symptom. That clip didn't seem funny to me - any funnier than it would be if you were taking your dad in to a doctor for a simple dementia screening and he did that. It would seem tragic and sad, and a symptom of a very concerning cognitive issue.

Puerto Rico is still in shambles, and Trump didn't seem to know that those are US Citizens there. He treated them like he was sending some aid to a foreign country.

Here is the question, is that something the federal government could have prevented by any practical means? The feds can only do so much, chack the link legalease posted. Why is there millions of bottles of water sitting in a field?

Yes, FEMA could have prevented a lot of those deaths.

Is that like the pocket going from the federal government to Planned Parenthood that PP says is unrelated to abortion? Because I seem to recall the right saying that it was impossible to differentiate.

Honestly, $10mm is a small number in the grand scheme of things. The way this hurricane is looking they're gonna need a hell of a lot more than that.
