I don’t care who supports repeal. I’ve studied it in depth. It needs to be repealed. It has killed too many Americans already and pushed up prescription drug costs
So you dont care who the people who want to eliminate it serve?
authorities given to FDA by the Kefauver-Harris Amendments:
- required that manufacturers prove the effectiveness of drug products before they go on the market, and afterwards report any serious side effects.
- required that evidence of effectiveness be based on adequate and well-controlled clinical studies conducted by qualified experts. Study subjects would be required to give their informed consent.
- gave FDA 180 days to approve a new drug application, and required FDA approval before the drug could be marketed in the United States.
- mandated that FDA conduct a retrospective evaluation of the effectiveness of drugs approved for safety—but not for effectiveness—between 1938 and 1962.
- allowed FDA to set good manufacturing practices for industry and mandated regular inspections of production facilities.
- transferred to FDA control of prescription drug advertising, which would have to include accurate information about side effects.
- controlled the marketing of generic drugs to keep them from being sold as expensive medications under new trade names.
Because he received huge amounts of money from the industry of course just as why Trump packed his administration with Goldman fat cats and promised on the campaign trail a government funded universal health care system that would cover everyone and did the exact opposite once in office. Vote for corruption, get corruption.

Trump even hired a Goldman Sachs fat cat as his campaign finance chief to beg money from Wall Street. Of course awarded him and his cronies with the most important economic positions including Treasury Secretary. As long as you vote for corruption, you get corruption. Obama having the same donors as Trump and the GOP should give you some clue about who the ruling class in America is.

I get what you are saying, but to say that it doesnt matter who we vote for is dangerous IMO. We certainly wouldnt have Social Security and Medicare today if progressives didnt have overwhelming control of Congress in the 1930s and 1960s during FDR and JFK/LBJ.
Anger issues lead to all sorts of health problems. Perhaps a test is required for everyone to figure out their reactions to poor people so they can be charged more. I don't have a problem with a sugar tax, just like cigarette tax and alcohol taxes, but its also a fact that people who die young also require less old age health care which is extremely expensive.
Your labeling people who disagree with you about the poor as people who hate the poor and have anger issues doesn't make either of those things true. Merely your opinion, and opinions are like you know hat.....and everyone has one.
