Watch Obama take credit for this too. It's an amazing feat, and once again Trump was ahead of the game and on the right side of history. Not bad for a bumbling bafoon. Someone dig up Hillary rants on fracking.

The chart at your link shows US oil production on an upward trend since 2007 and not spiking under Trump, just a continuation of the trend line. Not a Trump "miracle".

Since 2007? So Bush gets the credit.

I can certainly point to energy policies under Trump that are freindly to the fossil fuel industry. Can you pin point a single policy under the Obama administration that helped the fossil fuel industry? I'll be more than happy to point out ones that didn't. For example while leases on private land exploded leases on federal land remained flatlined.

The oil and gas industry expanded despite his policies, not because of them.

Meaningless. OPEC can put an end to the party anytime they want.

Who cares. As long as I have energy at my command, I don’t really care where it comes from. Besides, domestic oil producers aren’t putting any money in my pocket.

Their influence is waning. They tried putting the screws to US producers over the last few years by keeping production high and it was largely ineffective. Since we have gone over this topic numerous times you already know that.

Did you even read the article you linked? Oil production has been on the increase since 2008, increased by 70% under Obama and so far has increased about 10% under Trump (about the same yearly rate of increase), yet you think Obama deserves no credit for this? It's continuing to grow at the same rate as the entire time Obama was president, so Trump is doing an awesome job and Obama didn't? And of course, throw in something about Hillary Clinton at the end.

Actually, no I don’t know that, and I disagree with you 100%.
