I can certainly point to energy policies under Trump that are freindly to the fossil fuel industry. Can you pin point a single policy under the Obama administration that helped the fossil fuel industry? I'll be more than happy to point out ones that didn't. For example while leases on private land exploded leases on federal land remained flatlined.

Their influence is waning. They tried putting the screws to US producers over the last few years by keeping production high and it was largely ineffective. Since we have gone over this topic numerous times you already know that.

Did you even read the article you linked? Oil production has been on the increase since 2008, increased by 70% under Obama and so far has increased about 10% under Trump (about the same yearly rate of increase), yet you think Obama deserves no credit for this? It's continuing to grow at the same rate as the entire time Obama was president, so Trump is doing an awesome job and Obama didn't? And of course, throw in something about Hillary Clinton at the end.
