Ambassadors always receive a 'housing perk', nothing to do with cost of living. Ms haley is both a cabinet member and an ambassador.

I don't understand how/ why this position requires a full housing perk, let alone one to this level. A housing allowance could be given when one is expected to relocate to a high cost of living area.

Eisenhower elevated the position to the Cabinet and did so to demonstrate his gratitude to Hentry Cabot Lodge. Not all cabinet members get a 5000 square ft home as a perk.

You can be snarky if you like. The fact of the matter is way to many citizens are uneducated as to civics and organizational dynamics. On all sides of the political world.

Why do you lower yourself to snark?

Only after they were called out. Only after others took the "I hate Trump" story and ran with it including one congressperson saying an investigation is needed.

NYTimes lies and misleads us all the time.

Looks as if the curtains and other items were ordered for the lying Susan Rice. This is the woman who said the Benghazi disaster was caused by a youtube video.

Of course there were no complaints by the NY Times then.

Actually you are 100% wrong...
Americans are angry because MSM, CNN and MSNBC was trying to blame Trump and Haley instead of who actually brought the curtains in attempt to make Trump look bad.

Personnel I could care less who brought the drapes but I do get angry with proven fake news.

They were approved and purchased during Obama’s administration but because they were installed during Trump’s administration some are blaming Trump and Nikki Haley for the wasteful spending.
