Yeah really. When I lived in Dallas in the 1980s it was very white in most areas and lots of people were Yankees from places like Michigan who had been there since the 1970s and earlier. Today some people act like it was always so Hispanic and Spanish speaking and didn't have all these Yankees lol. Just who are the real "outsiders"?

Yup...there are people who live their entire lives in Texas and never learn English because they don't have to. They have radio stations, TV, newspapers, etc. in Spanish. People in stores wear "yo hablo Espanol" buttons, packaging & owner manuals are printed in English AND Spanish, most IVR systems have an option for Spanish, etc. The system is set up so Spanish-speakers never have to learn English.
