You know, because if somebody believes in God it apparently means they can't believe in physics
If you believe Genesis is literal history you can't believe in physics. That is, if you believe the earth is 6000 years old, that people once lived to be 900 years old, that we had a global flood that raised sea level 30,000 feet, and that every human and animal alive today is descendant from the people and animals that left Noah's Ark 4400 years ago, you can't believe in physics because physics have to be defied for those events to be literal history. You also have to deny geology and a large portion of the ancient historical record to believe that.

I mentioned up there that Scripture doesn't claim the earth is 6,000 years old, so why are you using it in an argument to invalidate and discredit Scripture?
Here in Missouri, car dealers are forced to be closed on Sunday, still one of the old "blue" laws.
Same in NJ.
We have whole towns that still observe blue laws. One of them has a lot of shopping centers/malls which makes for a hellish Saturday traffic.
PS. What happened to the unicorns? Did they not make it to the ark or were left off? Where did all the water from the great flood come from?... where did it go?
Rational people understand that when the Bible says humans used to live several hundred years it is not true, and it is physically impossible to believe without resorting to a magical explanation.
And any kind of magical explanation holds no weight in a court of law or in the scientific community. It's amazing that in the age where everyone has a smartphone with a video camera we haven't seen more of these "miracles" that we are all supposed to believe happen on video.
That is the problem, it is impossible to believe every singe thing in the Bible is literally true without ignoring basic science. You also disregard the fact that you have zero evidence to back it up.

By 'magical explanation' you mean a faith-based explanation, which is the central component to belief in God, correct?
Did I wake up today because, scientifically speaking, my heart didn't stop pumping oxygen throughout the night, or because, faith-based speaking, God sustained my heart through the night?

If God performed a miracle for you, would you believe, or is your heart so closed-off you would ignore reality? I hear there's a book where something similar played out, I can send you a copy if you'd like
