Nope, not personally. How much of that is Trump's fault? Well, the insurance ish doesn't help, but for me personally, it's the same thing that caused me to answer truthfully that I was not better off when Obama left office than I was before. Most of the reasons for me not being better off now than then is due to my medical situation as well as my divorce. Nether Trump not Obama caused either of those to happen to me.
I am, due to my own efforts and planning. I'm retired and have always lived within my means and built a nest egg. It seems that there has been a general sustained (but slow) improvement in many places since the recovery kicked in sometime around 2012. I do credit Obama with some of that. Sadly, my locale is not very economically resilient because it was very dependant upon federal funding and contracts that dried up and never returned. There is still some lingering problems but about 650 new jobs will be opening up in the next few months (Intel and some other private sector) with increased state and local efforts to broaden the economic foundation.
Yes, and although I am a Trump supporter, I don't give the government much of the credit. Even though I believe his policies were unfriendly to private enterprise, I did fine under Obama as well.
Without a doubt yes and in large part thanks to the Republicans, I'd still never vote for the idiots though. I'm certainly not in an average situation though life is pretty great these days.
My taxes have been substantially reduced because I no longer have to pay a stupid penalty for refusing to have insurance or pay for insurance that doesn't even kick in until I'm $5k-$10k out of pocket (premiums plus deductible).
Unrelated to the administration, I bought a new vehicle and they had 0% allowing me to hold onto my cash for other investments. I took advantage of AZs solar programs before the change over happened and cut my electric bills down to $350 a year from $3k, about a 6.5 year payback on my investment.
Because my income almost entirely comes from my rental properties, with a small portion from stocks, I don't technically participate in the economy at the same rate as most people so I can't actually comment on that aspect. However, because interest rates have been climbing as fast as they have been I've stopped buying new rental priperties.
