Don't act like you don't know this fake news story was going all over the net and that some people were claiming it was from Florence and that Cooper was lying. Trump, Jr. may not have specifically said it was from Florence, but the implication from his tweet is clearly there.
I did watch it. Seems pretty clear-cut to me. Cooper from 2008 was even saying why he was in the water where he was.
But, I'll ask you again (but you won't answer), so why would Trump Jr include a picture of Cooper reporting from floodwaters with his tweet about CNN lying while Cooper just so happens to be reporting on a Hurricane in NC? Why not use some other stock photo of Cooper?
You don't need to answer. Trump Jr was intentionally misleading OR he's an idiot thinking a picture from 2008 was actually from 2018. Trump Jr's explanation after the fact is simply because he was caught in a lie or was shown to be an idiot. Pick either.
Out of all the thousand of pics that there surely of Anderson Cooper by now, he randomly chooses this one....a scene of reporting in a flood where the camera crew is above. While a hurricane is currently happening. People are going to very naturally think it's the current one with no further context.

AC did it factually and intelligently. Trump Jr. is no more than a privileged know it all that thinks he can sit back and troll journalist and others who have EARNED the right to be in their respected careers such as AC. AND Breitbart took down the picture of Cooper or Trump Jr. used the picture of Cooper purposely.
Also -- for those of us on social media -- we know very well that day that picture was used to discredit Cooper on conservative media sites and it was retweeted by every Trump fan that knows how to retweet or share on Facebook.

The other message that day with those fake news was the 'blaming Trump' for the storms. Yup -- the lefties blame Trump for the storm.
