They show interviews with citizens who love their country and want to keep it theirs.
Poland is basically Europe's Mexico and many of it's people migrate to the U.K. under the E.U. Freedom of Movement to work menial jobs. Poles have revitalized the Roman church in England.

Many Londoners lament those immigrants coming en masse to destroy British culture, usually as "plumbers", which was one of the motivations behind Brexit.

So what's in it for the US?
From there they could turn the ex soviet countries from Russian's hand into the west. In other words, expand what is happening in Ukraine: Change the government with a coup, and have Russia react.
In Polish history, unification and sovereignty in a ethnic-Polish state are very recent developments. Germany and Russia are two of the countries that divided Poland.

Germany may ask the U.S. to leave. The E.U. may sanction the U.S. with not allowing any military installations within the union. Also they may make peace with Putin for a little while to play off Trump, until he is replaced by a friendlier president.

To make it fair and impartial, Poland should also open the Obama Refugee Intake Center.

What a great idea. Finally countries are getting the idea they need to pay for protection.

Poland wants a permanent US military base, and is willing to pay $2 billion for it

https://www.armytimes.com/news/2018/...illion-for-it/

“Establishing such a force is necessary to present an unequivocal challenge and deterrence to Russia’s increasingly emboldened and dangerous posture that threatens Europe,”

https://www.sfgate.com/news/politics...s-13238784.php

The Latest: Polish leader proposes US base called Fort Trump
Poland has had an unfortunate history due to it being sandwiched between Germany and Russia, so it's hardly surprising that they would welcome a permanent US presense, and I don't think they really care what the name of the base would be.

There is zero reason to have this or any base there. Given the size of the NATO members collective economy, I say there is zero reason to even be in NATO, let them spend their money and their blood and their defense.
The reason you have bases in Europe is largely to support US Inteligence and Military across the globe.

The vast majority of US Forces in Europe are not frontline, they are intellience, medical, logistics and other support units. The U.S. Army only has two permanent combat brigades in Europe, one in Germany and one in Italy. In Eastern Europe, the U.S. Army maintains a brigade-size element through a rotational presence based in the United States but sent abroad on nine-month deployments.

Really.

I seem to remember NATO allies laying down their lives to support US led action in Afghanistan and NATO has only once invoked articke 5 and that was on 9/11.

Just because one leader kisses Trumps butt in order to get something from him, does not translate to him being popular. Most laugh at him, and the rest use him.

And had we not been in Nato or the UN we probably would not have been there in the first place! Think about that

It's absolutely my position. The US has always pulled the freight for NATO, freeing the EU to fund various levels/versions of Fabian socialism with the US doing most of the defense department spending necessary to keep the trains running on time. Since the advent of NATO, what American citizens have gotten for their NATO time/dime has been basically the same amount of US defense they'd have if we weren't even members, $trillions wasted making sure Europe can spend far less of their individual GDPs on defense, all so Europe and the rest of the world can insult, deride and humiliate the US every chance they get.

Americans gain not one freaking thing from being in NATO. Nothing. Our two greatest defenders of US freedom - the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans - are not predicated on NATO membership. Our Navy existed as a constitutional requirement about 175 years before NATO. All we get for our NATO membership is unnecessary garrisons dropped all over Europe, doing nothing more but providing indirect foreign aid to countries that don't need it, and oh yeah, threats, insults and political jabs every other day.

Both the UN and NATO are bum deals for the United States, and we should leave both immediately. The EU is awesome, just ask them. They can handle all the NATO and UN stuff no sweat, just ask them. The US is useless, just ask the EU. They can solve the world's problems in 5 seconds if the US would only let them...just ASK THEM. I say fine, let the EU take over. We'll just be economic power and fly solo. We clearly have the defense budget and tech to handle our own business, so no loss to us. Go ahead Merkel, take charge!!

Less than 5% of the US Defence Budget is spent on Europe, and less than 5% of US Service Personnel are based in Europe.

Europe has the second largest defence spending in the world, more than China and Russia combined.

Many countries in Europe don't have a any US Military bases, whilst outside of a few countries, the presense is hardly even noticable it is so small.

The US gets a lot out of Nato including supprt for US Operations globally and in terms of intelligence and security.
