In time, I really don’t believe it will make much difference. We have already become more accepting of interracial relationships compared to 30 or 40 years ago.
I have always been attracted to good-looking men of any race. I just can't help myself. I have dated Black, White, and Latino; and have had good times and bad with all. Men are men.
The more we mix, the less racism we will have. Aside from self-loathers.. I mean its really hypocritical to be half black and half white and say you hate Blacks.. makes no sense to me.
That would be cool, and you're right. I can imagine less racism if people were mixing interracially, which makes me glad I was born in the 1980s.
Sorry to stir the pot, but how is wanting a society of racially mixed people any less racist than wanting a society that is black or white only?
It wouldn't be about race anymore. Would it make sense for someone who is half black and half white to hate blacks in general? People will always point out differences in others, and as a nation, we are tolerant of that. At least if society is racially mixed people will seek different ways to differentiate themselves from someone else. We're humans, it's what we do.

I'm not really talking about how a society of racially mixed people may be less racist than one of different races. I'm talking about people wanting to see different races go and replacing them with racially ambiguous people. I just don't see how preferring mixed race people is more "openminded" or less "racist" than preferring single race people.
Nationality and ethnicity can be used interchangeably.
This is true.....and the results are often ludicrous and cause all SORTS of misunderstanding. Ask any long-established, American born Mexican-descended person, whose PARENTS were ALSO born in the US, but who is told he "MUST" be in favor of the rights of illegal immigrants. Why? Because "He's a MEXICAN"......Huh?
Sounds silly, but I hear this stuff quite often. If such a person is "a Mexican", how many generations must follow, until the point is reached that his descendants can be called "Americans"...and are allowed to have their priorities with America...or will they just forever be "Mexicans".?
"Ethnicity" carries with it connotations of race. There are MILLIONS of Muslims now in Western Europe, but most of them aren't "ethnic Europeans". In modern, immigrant based nations (like Mexico, and like the US), there's really no single "ethnicity" that could be called "the ONLY one".
"Mexican" isn't a race.. it's a nationality, just like "American". Mestizo is a race. But try to tell some people that...good luck.!!
I was in a interracial relationship a few years back and was one of the best relationship I ever had, but sadly it didn't last. I don't understand why people are so raciest. Why can't people get along and not be prejudice of other race, gender, sexual orientation, age, class.... and the list goes on?
