And you edited your post to include the “jew” comment....why?

The whole concept is farcical.

Because after I wrote the comment the recent jew-beating incidents here in Germany came to mind. Edit or no edit. I stand by what I wrote!

If this country was predominately Muslim, you wouldnt have a choice you would be Muslim, and not just chased off. On the other hand early Mormons were Fundamentalists, like Islamists, so its really no surprise that early Mormons were not liked since they shared more in common with fundamentalist Warren Jeffs than modern Mormons. Just what we need more Warren Jeffs

Yeah there was more to the story of why the communities were at loggerheads with the Mormons that the other the poster doesn't mention or accept. Rarely is an outsider group just being inconspicuous, instead of often obtrusive and annoying.

Did that for years. Two Iranian guys, they were cool. Good network engineers, too. Couldn't drink worth a damn, though. Of course, I've worked with Muslims here in the US as well - it's a pain when ordering appetizers (no pork for the Muslims, no beef for the Hindus) but as this is California, there's likely to be good vegetarian options and that makes everybody happy.

Perhaps deal with them on the job and argue with them about math some.
We had our professional differences (not math, though) and settled them professionally.

Or have them shout at you because they don't like the lifestyle you're living in your country.
Never happened to me. Perhaps there's a different constant in the equation?

Or watch their crummy kebab-establishments displace traditional German places.
I'll stop you right there. German-style döner kebap is the Streetfood of the Gods, and if traditional German streetfood can't keep up, that's market economy for you. It's not as if native Germans aren't buying kebabs by the dozen when staggering home.

Yup. People who mix their religion into their politics are a pox, no matter what the religion. It's just that there are so, so many Christian nutjobs in power.

What's so difference about religious beliefs versus any other pseudo-religious nutty beliefs being inserted into politics? The pseudo-religious beliefs of socialism, diversity, multiculturalism and egalitarianism are just as nutty and unfounded as Nazism and possibly as hazardous.

Either way, Bible, or Koran, doesn't this violate separation of church and state?
No, that has nothing to do with it. Separation of church and state has to do with government sponsored religion.
