Do you look anything up?

Old Spanish dates back to the 13th century, but it descended from the blending of Latin with the Iberian languages that were spoken there before Rome stopped by. ... So if you're talking about the oldest versions of the languages, English takes the prize dating back to the 5th century

We are talking about america. Great swaths of america were inhabited by spainaids before the english. St Augistine FL is the oldest city in america an was founded by Spain.

So before you preach history to try studying it yourself.

P.S> Ever wonder why so man cities in southwest U.S. have spanish name?

So what??? We didn't adopt Spanish as our national de facto language we adopted English. Those Europeans not from Spain way outnumbered those who were in the long run.

And before that it was inhabited by indigenous peoples such as the Navajo, Cherokee, and Seminoles.

Call me crazy, but something tells me you are not going to learn Navajo, Cherokee, or Seminole.

Again, so what? The southwest isn't the entire U.S. anyway. There are far more states in the north east and mid-west than in the southwest combined. Sorry that you don't like the fact that we adopted English as our national de facto language and not Spanish.

Are you serious? You must be joking. Or do you not understand that they have a right to live wherever they want, just as you do?

I'm having trouble understanding your English, to be honest.

And "illegally communicating"? I think you're very confused about something.

Where did I say you didn't have the right to live among anyone you want to? Where did I say that because I believe immigrants should speak English in public if they know how to can't do so because I think it's rude and arrogant? Am I not entitled to my opinion? Don't I have THAT right?
Yes, you're entitled to your opinion, just as I am. We're here to have discussions and debate. Hopefully you can handle people disagreeing with you. If not, then this is the wrong forum for you.

They have a right to speak whatever language they prefer.

English is our national de facto language and it should take its rightful place as a part of our heritage and identifying culture by making it official.
Pfft. Good luck with that.

Foreigners don't have a right to live in America just as I don't have a right to live in their country. You're the one with the joke of a post.
