This is the news source that Trump and many of his die hard supporters hate. I'm going to see if they all stick with the fake news theme on this piece, or does that goes out the window on this story.

This is enough pretext for Trump to fire him, true or not. If Trump wants an excuse he could use this one, but he would then be admitting he believes his inner circle thinks of him as incapable, and his pride may prevent that.

If this was actually suggested it lends credence to the information we have already received that invoking the 25th was being discussed. Only the cabinet, with the Vice President, can invoke the 25th Amendment.

I believe it is likely some cabinet members pulled the FBI into their discussions for advice.

I think it came from John Barron or that Dennison guy who paid off his sexual partners.

Sounds like the Obama justice department decided upon a 3rd world style coup, to oust the duly elected goverment of the USA. No wonder they made up the lies about Russians. They needed cover.

Nasty indeed.

I don't see how even Democrats could defend this. Yet here at CD, I'm sure they already have.

Think about that for a moment.

To those accusing the NYT of torpedoing Rod and the FBI, don't be surprised if this is exactly what Rodenstein wanted so Trump fires him and perhaps he fires Muller too because from where I sit Muller has nothing and doesn't know how to get himself out of the hole he dug with this investigation. He knows Progressive, socialist Democrats will never accept his findings if they don't have a negative impact against the President. Trump firing Muller might be the only way he saves face. At least he has the I tired, but Trump fired me excuse. I hope Trump doesn't fire Muller and let's him drown in his own self-righteousness
You are way out of touch with reality!

Those are not lies. They are coming out every time someone pleads guilty.

Rosenstein is a Repub. as well as Mueller and most of his lawyers.

Unlike Trump they believe in laws and the oath they took to protect the Constitution.

No wonder the bastards don't want anything declassified. It all starts to become clear now. They conspired to fix the election, when they failed, they conspired to cook up the Russian nonsense as cover while they tried to perform a coup of the duly elected government.

Very very bad stuff. Even J Edgar Hoover, at his worse, wasn't that bad.

And the leftists here are still supporting them. Amazing the depths that TDS will take people
