CNN reporting this now, and Rosenstein claims the NYT story is incorrect and based on biased (and unnamed apparently) sources. Says he doesn't think there is a basis to invoke the 25th.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/21/u...amendment.html

CLARIFICATION - I misheard/misread, its actually reporting that he "suggested" recording him, not that he actually did record him.

Of course he would say that publicly, but I have to bet internally officials like him have been making contingency plans in case it becomes necessary to defend the Republic against an escalation from this out of control maniac.

If he did secretly record Trump in the oval office, that would be grounds for Rosenstein's termination right there.

One would think so, but I feel like our federal resources for investigations are running thin, maybe its part of the job creation plan?

What happened to "the n-word tape" that was supposed to come out? Did I miss it?

This confirms Omarosa’s earlier statement about senior aides sending texts to one another with hashtag #TFA.

Actually, no it doesn't. Its unnamed sources, he denies it happened, and the article doesn't mention it, so that is quite a stretch you are attempting there.

i don't think a reason is required to fire rosenstein but.... i was surprised to learn via omarosa that there is no law against secretly recording in the WH. it's been all on the honor system to date.
