Of course it is, anyone stupid enough to claim that illegal immigration is a net positive for our nation (even when putting crime aside) isn't being honest with themselves.
Illegally crossing the border isn't seeking political asylum, it's breaking the law. People seeking political asylum do it AT THE BORDER, before entering the country, not 3 years later after being caught by ICE.
Whining? Is that how Trump supporters would characterize their own opposition to abortion? How would they characterize the kidnapping of 500 children, deporting their parents and keeping the children here? What happens to these kids?
Trump is creating WWII Japanese internment camps for these children. The same people opposing abortion "because of the children" are completely fine with what Trump is doing here. Evangelicals show themselves to be far more political than religious. There will be movies made about what Trump has done to these kids - count on it.
