What does attacking a parade and killing 20 people do to benefit us strategically, unless some nuclear scientist was killed. I doubt it was backed by the usa.
Not the parade specifically but the US is supporting groups inside Iran that want to overthrow the government. It supports them through funds and weapons funneled via Arab states. The fact that some of them were psychos and shot up a parade is just collateral damage to the US government.

People either knowingly or unconsciously know the game is rigged and there is no democracy and so people will vote for a clown before voting for another establishment puppet like Nikki Haley.
