Given the number of false, unsubstantiated and just flat out absurd accusations we've seen in the last week concerning the SCOTUS hearing it appears that VP Mike Pence is a lot smarter than the left wingers who constantly attack him for his policy.

Accusations of sexual, harassment and abuse are absurd? And if someone is going to bull-**** what would stop them from lying about Pence? Most women likely know that Pence is a closet gay anyway so that might serve as a deterrent.
When the accusations are unsubstantiated, based on clear political biases and completely unsupported/denied by the witnesses that the accuser claimed were there yes, they're absurd.
Nothing stops the left from lying about anyone but it's hard to accuse someone of doing something when you have a policy of not letting yourself end up alone where a false accusation can be created.

Exactly. We've entered a time when facts are irrelevant and accusations make men guilty. If you've got a son it's never too early to start teaching him to stay away from situations that could lead to him being accused of anything whatsoever. We all know from the Duke Rape case that men are targets and all it takes is one crazy accuser to turn a guy's life upside down.
A bit extreme for some, but overall a wise policy, imo. As for the Kavanaugh accusations, it’s horsecrap, and everyone with half a brain cell knows it.
