I am not saying US is a saint, but compared to the rest of the world filled with tyrants, US is as a saint as we can get.
Look at my post about the world freedom index. The USA is not even close to being at the top. It has the largest prison population of any other country. Is that something to be proud of? What's wrong where either too many are imprisoned, or there are so many criminals. Either way, it's the worst in the world.

By far.

He's not much of a public speaker. Did anyone think this would go well? He only gets high marks for speaking when he's at one of his rallies. I'm actually surprised he thought speaking here was a good idea after Paris.

He probably figured out a way to rip-off American taxpayers for his stay at Trump Tower.

The usual Left Wing Lice find fault. There was meat in his speech and that irritates the left. They prefer apology for US behavior and promises that the US will do more to spread its resources around to other countries including those that attack us.
The world laughed at him.

That is not a good thing. Spin all you want.

What an excellent example of how out of touch with reality the cult is.
Seriously. The Cult is just so brainwashed, they can look at a video of world leaders laughing at Trump, and somehow conclude he is "respected." The mental disconnects one has to go through in order to conclude that are nothing short of astounding.

He speaks like a 3rd grader reading a book report that someone else wrote for him. He's a horrible orator unless he's in carnival barker mode and that only works well for backwards/backwoods carnival goers being sold snake oil. His inflections and modulations are none existent and he is unbearably difficult to tune into for more than a few seconds, IMO.

You must be getting paid. Or, you simply have no concept of what you write or think. Which thinking wouldn't be your strong point.

You can dislike the man but you cannot ignore his accomplishments.
I will not deny that he has accomplished some of his goals, setting aside for the moment whether or not I think those goals were worthy.

But...to say something like he did, that he's done more for the country than almost any other president? That's just ridiculous. For one thing, he has yet to face any really major crisis. No Civil War, no Pearl Harbor, Great Depression, Great Recession, or 9/11. The only test he has faced is one of public opinion, which is hardly unique - all presidents face criticism. Also, it is a bit early to say how many of the things he's attempted to do will work out for the country in the long run. It would be a lot easier to acknowledge any good he may be doing if he didn't insist on inflating it at every possible opportunity. What nice thing can I possibly say to someone who has already proclaimed himself the best ever?

He's doing fine. I guarantee world leaders take him a lot more seriously than the bower, Obama. They wanted Hillary to win because they could steam roll her just like they did to Obama. Trump isn't rolling over for their trade imbalances like every other President. We've been taken advantage of by the EEC (Europe/UK), Asia, and elsewhere since WWII. Enough!
