I support the 2nd amendment and don’t like the posted no gun signs but at the same time why go through all the trouble of getting your CCL licenses when you usually can’t carry?
My husband spends so much money on guns and classes and shooting practice and he rarely carries his gun. Only to work in a small office. Where we live most places are posted. He can’t take it to a movie theater or grocery store....or 90% of places.

I see lot of such posts in Texas, but not here in Florida.

Putting up a no-guns sign does not create law, so in most cases it is a request, not an order.

Very sad. There simply are not enough guns on the streets.

I am not one of them but many people believe concealed means concealed. Nobody knows.

I can only assume you live in a very liberal city where they hate the 2nd.

In Houston, I rarely see any businesses with a 30.06 sign and can carry most places.

When I was in Austin a couple of weeks ago, there were plenty of signs stating that only criminals can bring guns in.

This depends on where you live.

Here, in the liberal Puget Sound area, I think it is moderately difficult to get a CC license. In my regular rounds, I know of only two places that are posted No Guns - a veteran's resource center and a blue collar sports bar.

Although I don't know, my guess would be that this reflects a bad experience in the past!

And yes, I know several people who carry. They never seem to worry about being denied entrance anywhere they want to go. But it's true I've never asked, so...

Did you know they have an Express line at the Texas State Capital to get through security if you carry and have a Licensed Handgun Permit ?

Very few places here restrict your right and when they do they must have the correct signs. Without the correct signage it's just a request.

Putting up a no carry allowed sign is perfect for those who mean harm. Got it.

It’s Illinois so most places are posted.
