Wow, a trillion for high-cost union infrastructure projects and 450 billion dollars in housing welfare being proposed.

https://studentloanhero.com/news/sho...-student-debt/

Lots of liberal groups also want all student debt to be eliminated also.
Trump campaigned on spending $1.5 Trillion on infrastructure.

He won nearly half the popular vote.

Hard- press to find anyone in Government who is not eager to spend other people’s money and descend deeper into debt.

Why don’t states pay for their own infrastructure?

Why, why, why are we not doing it? Obama wanted to do infrastructure. Congress blocked it, because they didn't want Obama to get credit for doing anything that actually needs to be done.

Now we've got military spending soaring (why?), the never-happening wall, and trade wars.

Why won't anyone do infrastructure? Does it make too much sense?

One of these days a bridge is going to collapse, or some other disaster and then we'll talk about it again.
Why don’t states address their own infrastructure instead of creating massive Federal- enabled boondoggles ?

Because some infrastructure is better when its designed to support multiple states. Power systems, interstate highways, etc etc

The problem is welfare. Cut welfare and balance the budget.

Look in a mirror.

BTW infrastructure spending is usually (but not always) a wise investment.
No outrage when Obama added 10 trillion to the deficit when he was in office

Take back what's in the stuffed pockets of the Trump donors and the budget is balanced.
Feel better.
Lets make it work

Vote them off the planet

Which came from the two wars + getting out of the recession, but I do love how right wingers always leave that out.
